I've always been drawn to the space where creativity and clarity meet.
Over two decades, I've helped organizations evolve by building brands from the ground up, modernizing legacy experiences, and guiding teams through moments of transformation. My work spans digital experiences, editorial platforms, brand systems, enterprise initiatives, and emerging ventures, but regardless of the medium, the goal has always been the same: create work that helps people understand, trust, and connect.
Today, I lead creative initiatives that bring together strategy, design, content, technology, and marketing. I enjoy translating ambiguity into clear creative direction, building alignment across disciplines, and helping talented teams do their best work. While I care deeply about craft, I believe the strongest creative leaders do more than produce exceptional work, they create the environment where exceptional work can happen.
My career has taken me through global agencies, independent consulting, in-house leadership, and startup environments, giving me the opportunity to launch new ideas, build scalable brand systems, and help organizations navigate meaningful change. Those experiences have reinforced a simple belief: every organization is different, but the principles of good creative leadership remain the same. Listen carefully. Ask thoughtful questions. Simplify complexity. Earn trust.
I grew up on a dairy farm in rural Wisconsin, where hard work wasn't something you talked about, it was simply expected. That experience shaped the way I lead today. I value humility over ego, collaboration over hierarchy, and believe that treating people well is just as important as delivering great creative. The best ideas emerge when people feel trusted, supported, and challenged to do their best.
As AI reshapes our industry, I'm excited by its potential to strengthen creative leadership. Not by replacing human thinking, but by expanding our ability to explore ideas, uncover insights, and spend more time on the work that requires empathy, judgment, and imagination.
What I enjoy most is bringing clarity to complexity. Helping people align around a shared vision, creating space for good ideas to grow, and building work that's thoughtful, useful, and built to last. That's the work I hope to keep doing.
